Perfect! I took my pomeranian in for a grooming and they were just wonderful. Very gentle and patient with her, would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a professional groomer who treats their dogs well!

We never took a dog to a groomer before until we got our 2 maltese puppies. They were so good with our young puppies and gave us valuable advice on how to groom them at home. They just had their first big shave to remove their long fine silky fur which gets tangled up so easily. They look so cute especially with the little bow ties the groomers put on them. I would recommend Shearer's Grooming Salon to all pet owners. Debbie & Bob

We have two dogs a toy poodle and a shi tzu it was such a pleasure to find Shearers to groom our dogs. Both looked great when we picked them up and we would definatly recommend Shearers to any of our friends. Very friendly groomers, clean shop and our dogs were very well treadted. The Landing Family

I am responding to the review made on Feb 17,2012. I am the owner of Shearers Grooming Salon. A lady and a man came in to my salon while I was grooming. Told me she had two dogs she wanted groomed a lab and a very old golden. I asked her if her golden had been groomed before she said no and that her golden had a very hard time standing for any lenght of time. I then told her I didn't feel that it was safe to do the dog and take a chance it would fall. I told her that it might be better to have a groomer that could come to her home. I offered to groom the lab because it was younger and had no problems standing. I don't feel I was rude to her. Both myself and the other groomer spent time trying to explain why we felt it was not safe to put such a large dog on a grooming table when we already new the dog had a problem. We always put the safety of the dog first. When they left she thank us and said she was going to find a groomer that could do them both at their home. I am sorry she felt I was rude but from the information she gave me about her golden I did what I thought was best for the dog. Sincerely. Cathi Shearer

I went to salon to make appointment for my senior golden retriever. I like to talk to the groomer to make sure they understand that my dog can not stand for long periods of time. He takes more time and I am willing to pay extra to make sure he is groomed by someone with patience and will treat him the way I would. The groomer was very short and rude with me. Absolutely refused to groom my dog and said "If he can't stand long enough, he can't be groomed." The next place I went was very understanding and was great with my dog.

Vet sent us to Shearers. Spoke to the owner very caring lady. Our rat terrier groom was SUPER. We give this groomer A 5***** Biscuit Rating. It was nice to see someone that really loves their job. Alice Snyder

Neighbor told me about shearers grooming salon. This place is one in a million! Great service, great groom and so sweet to my dogs. I have a westie and a poodle and I can say they never looked better. Such a cute place and so clean. My dogs were watching Toy Story when I picked them up how cute is that. You could see that both groomers really loved their job and the dogs. We will be back next year for sure. Teddy & Bo Bo
