They need to remove the customer service person by the name of Patricia. I have stood in line and observed this woman yelling at her Co workers and customers. I work in a retirement community and everyone has a story to tell about this lady. So back to me. I insure all my packages when I ship and I need proof of,acceptance This day I was in line 2 people in front of me and Patricia said there is a man out there that will help you. I got out of line and the man did not know how to print out a receipt. I got back in line and was happy not to get her. Next day I have a package to ship and just my luck I get Patricia. She refused to check in my package saying I had to drop off at the end of the counter. Thst is fine if someone is there but I am not going to search for help. I waited my turn and I just wanted her to do her job. I told her she was a miserable perso. She should be kept in the back If I had to stand and work with her all day I would cut my throat.

If I could give zero stars here I would! The older woman w/dark hair that's worked there for years has a SERIOUS ATTITUDE and customer service problem. My package needed a small piece of tape to seal it and the woman refused to provide a piece.(She rudely pointed to a "store shelf" and told me to go buy a whole roll of tape if I wanted to complete my transaction(meanwhile I was spending a $150 dollars to send one 26lb. package to Russia and she refused to help & provide me with a .01 cent piece of tape..., if that!)). I will be visiting the post office to pick-up a shipping box and custom forms again soon and will update and post the name of the elderly employee shortly. UNFORTUNATELY, NOTHING WILL PROBABLY BE DONE, THE WOMAN WON'T BE REPRIMANDED FOR HER NASTY ATTITUDE AND NON-HELPFUL MANNERS, AND I WIND UP WASTING THE TIME WRITING THIS REVIEW! What a country! After seeing here that all five reviews are only one star, I see this is a real and ongoing problem and will be contacting their MAIN office since the problem is obviously BEING IGNORED by the post office branch managers.

I recently visited this US Postal Service and experienced the utmost negative customer service ever in my life. This is what happened to me as I tried to ship a few packages.

The person who assisted me was Patricia (lead sales), based on her name tag. She treated me in the rudest, most insulting, degrading, hateful, abusive, and discriminating way. First, she determined that one of my boxes was too large to ship even before I approached the counter. She told me to not come to the counter because she could see that my box was too large to ship. Her colleague, Mindy, took measurements to confirm that the box was too large so as a result, I did not bring that box to the counter and did not ask to ship that large box. However, I had two other boxes which I needed to ship so I asked Patricia if I should go to the counter or stay where I was standing. In an aggravated way, Patricia told me to go to the counter.

As I approached the counter, Patricia acted angry and hateful as she asked me if it was the same large box that couldn't be shipped. I told her that it wasn't and placed the box on the counter. Patricia proceeded to measure my box. She acted in an aggravated, forceful, and aggressive manner as she measured my box with a measuring tape. I felt that if the tape was flung forcefully enough it could possibly hit me in the face so I stepped back for fear that the tape would hit me. I told her that I was stepping back because I didn't want to get hurt from the measuring tape. She denied that any such thing would happen because she had been doing that type of work for too long, and she continued in the same manner.

Besides acting aggravated and being aggressive with the measuring tape, Patricia also made degrading, insulting, and rude comments about me. When I asked to have my box shipped at the least expensive price, she retorted insultingly that it was as she had expected. Her anger and hatred carried on as I asked to ship my second box. At one point, when she walked a little further away from the counter, I heard her say "...you know, when you see a person and you get a certain feeling (or vibe) about them, and it turns out to be right..." She spoke loud enough that I could hear her very insulting and degrading comments.

That resulted in my heart beating faster and faster, and I couldn't help but to speak up and say that I've never ever been treated that way before in my entire life. I voiced my grievances about the poor customer service and decided not to ship my packages at this USPS location. Patricia asked her colleague Mindy to help void out my transaction. Neither Patricia nor Mindy replied to my complaint. Mindy maintained a smile the entire time. When I asked Mindy who Patricia's manager was, she said that she was Patricia's manager and did not say anything further. Patricia assisted the next person with a bright smile as I stood there waiting for Mindy to complete what she was doing. I was not given a receipt. I saw that Patricia did not treat the customer before or after me with such hatred, aggravation, insult, discrimination, and prejudice. I walked away feeling insulted, abused, discriminated, and mocked while Patricia and Mindy had smiles on their faces.

I reported this to the USPS Consumer Affairs and hope that measures will be taken to protect consumers from ever having to experience this type of abusive treatment when using services at the US Postal Service.

i visited this Post Office this morning. I was a disappointed to say the least. i just purchased a retirement home in town and am excited to be part of the community. The trip to the USPS gave me pause. I witnessed one of the desk clerks verbally berate an older women who was attempting to mail an unusual package. The customer was requesting the best way to mail the item and the postal employee was hostile and

rude. I will strongly consider UPS for package mailing in the future.

Fail to deliver express mail when scheduled. According to tracking it arrived at their post office with plenty of time for delivery. I've tried called for 45 minutes, but just get a busy signal. When I finally got through the lady was rude on the phone. I'll be expecting a full refund, but customer service stinks!
