Weird to rate a cemetery/funeral/cremation service that operates like any other business? We think perfectly acceptable since this is the venue to provide constructive feedback to the general community. What is weird, and clearly unconscionable, is to make arrangements, execute a contract and pre-pay for services only to NOT have the burial orchestrated and completed as was intended. No second chances here to correct the issue. Delays in responding to our written concerns leads to contacting the Pres/GM for a shred of consolation or understanding...not here we get OOOPS...too bad...don't know where the attendants could have been so the burial site was not prepared for you. Oh yes and by-the-way we did bury the urn without speaking to you further so we did our job therefore we are entitled to the money you paid. Further, if you want to dispute any portion of the burial fee pre-paid we can just refund the entire headstone fees to you and not process your VA entitlement for a marker and the gravesite can go UNMARKED???? Really... WWII vet, lifelong resident of Ventura County, GTE retiree….just priceless as to the depth of concern. Beware and make sure you pick a reputable resting place for yourself, or your loved ones, as there is no way to change what has been done.
