Provided by YP.comI stayed here for one night. People were yelling and screaming in other rooms. There was four black guys fighting in the parking lot in front of my room. All of this happened within 2 hours. I called the Front Desk to complain and tell them that I was scared to stay there, and I just needed my money back so I could check out, but they wouldn't answer the phone for an hour. When I finally got in touch with them, they said that I was safe and okay. I told them that I felt like I wasn't safe, being a girl alone in their motel, and he just yelled over me for about 5 minutes, then hung up. I called back and repeated my request to check out and get a refund, so he yelled over me again, then put the phone down for a few minutes. When I finally hung up and called back, it was busy, of course. When I walked to the front desk & mentioned calling the police, he said "no no NO POLICE" over & over again, which made it really obvious to me that hes doing illegal things there. I saw more than 10 people go into the room next to mine in an hour and a half, and none of them stayed for more than 2 minutes. It was obvious to me that they were selling drugs, but the managers reaction had me wondering if he was in on it or something. Either way, I wouldnt recommend this hotel to ANYONE, esp. women traveling alone or people with kids. Maybe they will change in the near future, but if you pull up and see an Asian couple running the desk trying to haggle on the price for your room, turn around and run the other way! He will probably chase after you with a better offer, but BELIEVE ME if it's anything other than free, it's not worth it!!!

Provided by YP.comI have been unfortunate enough to stay at this place two times. It is located in an "average" part of town, but the customers are very loud, obscene, and look like they are on drugs and fresh out of jail. I saw one guy wearing blue pants with "VCSD" painted down the side, meaning property of Ventura County Sheriffs Department. The police show up on their own accord almost nightly, checking the registrar for people on probation & searching their rooms. Both of the times I stayed there, I couldnt get a quote on the room rate, the Asian American man & his wife at the front desk wanted to haggle with me. They originally quoted me at $55.00 + tax, but chased after my car and offered me $50.00 including tax. Afterwards, I was really mad at myself for not paying the extra $8.00 and staying at Motel 6. The house behind our room had an aspiring drummer in it, he/she practiced for about 2 hours a night--straight! The motel doesnt furnish a full roll of toilet paper, soap, an ashtray in the smoking room, or shampoo/conditioner. There are stains all over the carpet, & the couch cushions dont even match! The second night, I saw a man looking into my car and the two cars next to it, even cupping his hands around his face to see inside better. About an hour after that, two girls had a screaming match in the parking lot with several mentions of "calling the police." The front desk clerk was located no more than 30 feet away, but he didnt come out (or call the police). After instigating the fight, the big older woman beat up the little young girl, ran to the office, came out with the front desk clerk (the haggler), continued to scream and rant, hugged and kissed the clerk, and returned to her room. The younger girl was told to leave, and when she asked the clerk to call the police, he refused. I left my babys pacifier in the car, but was too scared to walk outside to get it. The place is all ashambles, the patrons are downright scary, and the front desk clerk and his wife are doing everything wrong! I would rather sleep in my car than stay there again, no matter how cheap they made it. I advise anyone wanting to stay in this town to just head to the Motel 6 or Vagabond Inn, Ive stayed in both and have no complaints...
