I was born and raised in Clearwater, Florida where my family still resides. I graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and was a member of the honors college.Following my 3 years at ECU, I was accepted to the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and graduated with a Doctor of Medicinal Dentistry degree in 2011. While there, I was an active member in our ASDA chapter, ADEA chapter, and various intramural teams.Right out of school, I practiced general dentistry in a public health clinic outside of Springfield, Missouri where my wife, Katie, is from and was also practicing.After 2 years in public health, I was accepted to Case Western Reserve University's Orthodontic Residency. I graduated in 2015 with my Masters of Science in Dentistry and a certificate in Orthodontics.Following graduation, I was accepted to the Craniofacial, Surgical and Special Care Fellowship program at CWRU/University Hospital.My wife Katie, who is also a dentist, and I were delighted to welcome our first child, Michael, in December 2016.We enjoy all that Ohio has to offer and have fully embraced Cleveland sports teams!
