Away from the hustle and bustle of Fort Lauderdale, my family and I relocated to Vero Beach a couple of years ago. And along with new doctor’s, we needed a new pharmacist to fill medical prescriptions. Referred by a friend to Perkins Pharmacy on State Road 60, Edwin quickly became that pharmacist.

Perkins is a small, family owned pharmacy located just east of 43rd Avenue on the south side of 20th Street. Polite and friendly staff – they are always helpful. On the rare occasion that an insurance co-pay is more expensive than making a simple out-of-pocket cash payment, staff are quick to advise. And before leaving the store, Perkins ensures that you have no questions about your prescription.

Plenty of parking, a clean store, and many of the items you would find in a big-box chain, Perkins Pharmacy provides a more personable experience. They even called me on my birthday to wish me a “Happy Birthday.” Thanks for the reminder.

It looks like we found our Good Neighbor Pharmacy in Perkins Pharmacy.
