I'm in favor of supporting local business and when in need of sporting goods or apparel, I visit Scott's Sporting Goods. They are family owned and operated.

Located in the southwest corner of 20th Street and 14th Avenue in Vero Beach, Scott's has been around for decades. Plenty of parking - either in the lot, or on the street.

Having dealt with Chris, Stephanie, and Scott on several occasions, it's always been a pleasant experience. Whether it's baseball gear for my son, or soccer cleats and an air pump pin for my youngest daughter, I've always found the service to be fast, friendly, and polite. Prices are competitive as well.

On my most recent trip to Scott's, my daughter needed soccer cleats. Trying on several different pairs before finding what she wanted, I found Stephanie to be especially helpful in making sure of proper size and fit.

There are a few "big box" sporting goods stores in Vero Beach, but my preference is local. And by local, I mean Scott's Sporting Goods.
