When taking the car for a test drive, David L did not have a seat-belt on. Acted like a child the whole ride, leading himself to the front to ask consecutively "how do you like the car?" Before arriving at the dealership, I had called the Fort Pierce dealership which they gave me different pricing. When arriving David was furious that I was in contact with another dealer and said it would "effect his sale" and needed to see if I was in contact with anyone in his dealership as well. After looking at the Versa, I was not interested and told David so, he replied with "well with your budget , you don't have room to be picky, that you will have to settle with some aspects." David was very pushy and talked down to my sister and I as we were both young adults. After David finally letting me see another model, a Sentra , my sister and I checked it out and noticed it was a 2014, when I specifically was interested in a 2016 NEW car. When he saw me on the phone he asked who I was speaking too and replied "you shouldn't be calling other dealerships, while your dealing with us, this will effect my sale." David went to get the Sentra keys and we shortly followed him to get my own. After David speaking rudely and arrogantly, we decided we wanted to leave his bossiness and told him kindly we were not interested today and he replied "well let me get my manager because this is a waste of time and this confusion is unnecessary." The manager Mike came over with my keys and looked annoyed already, he asked "what are you looking for in a car, we can get you into something today." He looked frustrated already so I asked for the keys (which they held from me the whole time from the beginning when checking the vin and mileage of my vehicle.) Got my keys and purchased a car fro the nicest dealership I had ever walked into Sutherlin Nissan of FORT PIERCE!

Highly do not recommend Sutherlin Nissan of VERO BEACH, rude staff, bossy dealers & was extremely frustrated with this whole experience.

The absolute worst of the worst. I've had some negative experiences buying cars over the last half century, but dealing with this group hit a new low. Don't expect them to honor a "TRUE CAR" price, because they're masters of deception and slight-of-hand. I got the auto with the "TRUE CAR" VIN number, the one listed on the certificate, but other than that, all I got was screwed, both out of the advertised price and out of any fair and recognized industry trade-in value. I didn't have the certificate in hand, so I guess they figured this old duffer was an easy mark. At any rate, I'd find another dealer, any other dealer.

This company has the best salesman i ever had experienced. Yet, as far as the Finance/Pay Off Dept, they suck! I was receiving past due notification from my car company for 3 weeks and left message for someone to contact me, it was going to effect my credit report. When car company originally contacted me within the first week of leasing vehicle, i was told by Nissan, "we have up to 1 month to pay off vehicle!" That was awesome, because now its practically in the 4th week and still not paid off. I wonder if its okay for me to pay my first payment within 4 weeks too! HA.... I will never refer them to anyone and it is a shame because the salesman was totally nice and helpful to the best of his ability, the rest was not his fault...

Will never buy from this dealer

Poor communication skills, made promises they didn't keep, were very "friendly" when they thought I was going to buy from them, but the tune changed when I was honest and said I was going to continue to shop around for a better price. They decided to loan me the car I was interested in purchasing for 24 hours. J.K. said, "just communucate with me when you plan on bringing it back". when I called to let him know that I would be bringing it in the next day so that my husband could check it out, J.K. said "okay, no problem, bring it in anytime tomorrow". Mike, the sales manager called me shortly after I spoke with J.K. to ask,"how do you like the car? Be honest, do you think you'll be purchasing?". My reply was,"I love the car, this is the model I am going to buy; however, I'll be honest, I'm going to continue to shop around for a better price". Mike didn't seem to want to hear that, so, all of a sudden he needs the car back ASAP. I couldn't get it to him because I was headed out the door within the next 5 minutes. So, Mike requested that I leave the keys in the wheel well and he would come pick up the Nissan and return my vehicle. When I returned from my evening out, at 11:30 p.m. The Nissan was gone but my car had not been returned! I couldn't wait until the morning to get my car because I have to get to work. So instead of going to sleep, I had to go with my husband to the dealership to pick up my car from the lot at midnight using his spare key and retrieve my own key from the dealer sometime the following day. There is no excuse for their lack of communication and complete disrespect of my time.
