Be on your guard with this dealer (used cars) - they're definitely into combat tactics. The salesman clearly understood my offer price (and it was clearly indicated on the worksheet), however after saying that the manager had agreed to the price (the price before TT&L), something different (higher) came back on the finance paperwork. He didn't even mention the discrepancy or say there was some misunderstanding, just slid that price in and expected me to sign it. When I brought it up, they refused to change it, knowing they had me over a barrel - I had driven a long way, the manager had left for the day, and they knew I was returning to a deployment and would be unable to come back. Basically, suck it up and pay this higher price or leave with nothing...admittedly it's partially standard negotiations, but definitely underhanded they way they did it. To top it off, they refused to clean the truck and left me with an empty fuel tank. I needed the vehicle and was in a bind, and they soaked me.
