Victorville City Hall is comprised of human resources, building, engineering, planning, police, economic development, finance, fire and public works departments. The city hall houses the offices of the city assessor, manager and clerk. Its engineering department oversees various engineering and land surveying services throughout the city, including improvement plan and subdivision map checking, survey, design, contract administration and management for capital improvement program projects. Victorville City Hall includes a community services department that is responsible for overseeing parks, recreational facilities, golf course operations, library services and facilities maintenance. Its finance department includes purchasing, sanitation, and housing and development grants. In addition, Victorville City Hall houses a public information department that sis responsible for media relations, community affairs and public outreach.
