Located in Victorville, Calif., Liberty Elementary School offers a range of academic and extracurricular opportunities to students in grades kindergarten through six. It operates a site council, advisory committee, volunteer group and parent-teacher association. The school also publishes an accountability report card and monthly newsletter. It improves home-school communication through parent teacher conferences, study teams, independent learning plans, parental workshops, fairs and awards assemblies. The school operates a modern CD-ROM-based computer lab and a media center with digital cameras and DVD players. Additionally, the school offers services, such as vision and hearing screening, therapies, counseling, physical education and early intervention. Liberty Elementary School has an enrollment of more than 900 students.
