Wil R. Mullins has been a family law attorney in the High Desert since 2002. He chose family law because it is the one area that can have a positive effect on the community. "We get the parents to seek counseling, take parenting classes, and do what is necessary so that if there is a divorce, the children are least impacted," he said. Mr. Mullins entered law school after he raised his family. "I had always wanted to go to Law School, I just had to wait for the opportunity." He attended the University of LaVerne College of Law, specializing in family law and guardianship. He moved to the High Desert in 1999 and opened his office across from City Hall. Family law also deals with the issue of paternity. "There is no law like family law because family law involves us all." "Divorce occurs because of basic problems, and in many cases the parents need to parent themselves," says Mullins. In addition to his practice here, Mr. Mullins is an adjunct professor at the University of Redlands Business School and will teach Business Ethics and the Law. He is the secretary of the High Desert Bar Association, a position he has help for five years. He has also been a pro tem judge at the family law court in the High Desert, and has coached the High Desert Mock Trial Competition - a contest for high school in San Bernardino County - for the past five years. Worth Every Penny!!

Mr. Mullins and his entire staff exceeded my expectiations. They worked diligently on my case and kept me informed of what was happening. They were always available to answer my questions and address any concerns I had. Mr. Mullins services and his staff are in my opinion the best in the business

Horrible Experience

I often wouldn't get my paperwork for upcoming court dates even after requesting that it be sent out a second time.

They didn't keep me informed on my case, and all the times I would call to find out what was going on I would get attitude from the secretaries in the office.

I often felt like I was being talked down to as if I were a child rather than a paying client. I did not feel like they had my best interests at heart and would not recommend this attorney to anyone.

BIG RIP OFF

This attorney was very misleading. They tell you what you want to hear on their "free" consultation. Then for only two thousand dollars they will get this all done for me. Well months went by and only one letter written to the opposing party at which time they came back and changed their whole tune saying they couldn't really do anything for me. Meanwhile the two thousand dollars that was supposed to take care of the whole case, no, I paid more than that for the one letter they wrote and to "close out my case". I would not recommend this attorney to anyone. They were very misleading and very rude to my children.
