The officer I dealt with on May 2, 2016 in the dd's parking lot was mean. I didnt know the law about expired registration, but that's my fault. I just got the the car, DMV isnt open on Saturday or Sunday so there was no way to register the vehicle. Went in the store, I look out and my car was being hooked up to a tow truck. I go out to see whats happening. Found out that if the registration is more than six months expired the police department can tow the car. I'm in the wrong, but the part that that really gets me she had the nerve to state in a smug and condesending tone that "it gonna cost you to get your car back". She took pride in leaving me and my kids stranded. Even my 10 year old said the was a mean comment. I agreed it was mean and unnecessary. Kindness goes a long way. She is one of the few cops that give the others a bad name.

Horrible Department. I purchased a vehicle online and it was my first time buying a car so I was super excited to get on the road. Long story made short. Its my first day in my car I head for victorville to help a friend move. We end the night by having a smoke at the park before I leave. Police pulls up runs plates on cars and mines came back stolen. I explain to the officer how I purchased the vehicle online that day and that I have the proof in my phone. The history of me and the seller talking it over. His number and where to meet. How much he wanted for the car and all. However he takes my phone and go through it to find something to incriminate me in court. Doesn't even think to help prove my innocents. I also had the paper work for the car and the key. He still takes me to jail and keeps my phone as evidence.

A car hit my car and drove off. I called the vv police they arrived an hour later just to tell me it's not enough damage to prosecute the offender even though I had the license plate number and everything. So basically I have to pay for the damage myself because the police isn't going to do and thing about it. Why do we have to pay taxes if the police isn't going to do their job... This completely ruined my day! I am happy I didn't bring my baby with me smh! This is the second incident with these people. This is why crime is so high because there is no consequence.

Im so fustrated! VICTORVILLE POLICE are no help filing a contempt of a court order getting a lawyer having a court order following the court system has got my hubby no where he still cant find his daughter the cops just say go back to court the court says call the cops wtf!!!!

That is the VCPD business line. It's right. After hours it rolls over and is answered at Sheriffs dispatch.
