The owner (Johnnie Andrus) is not only a true professional, but you will know that you are dealing with a family friend.

Love love love! Got my wedding dress here. The owner and the sales clerk were so kind and polite. The shop is quaint and beautiful. I drove all the way from Houston to go to this shop and i would make the drive again without any hesitation.

I LOVED this shop! I've shopped her for many years ans recently needed a dress THAT day and I was treated very nicely and left with a dress I loved. They were very nice to me and the shopped smelled and looked GREAT. I'm shocked to see some of the reviews. The employee that helped was new but she did a great job and I am very pleased. The owner was very nice and I recommend Cindy's to anyone

If there was a zero star rating... Cindy's would certainly be receiving it! I have never encountered such rude customer service in my life, especially considering we were the ONLY customers in the entire shop (which looked like an old dirty gas station). Such foul personnel should not be working in a bridal/prom shop. I am surprised they are still in business, it makes me think I should open my own bridal shop in Vidor, which would certainly take them out. My advice... Suki's in Orange, TX or Genie's Bridal in Beaumont. Thanks and Gig 'Em.

DO NOT shop at Cindy’s Bridal & Formal. They have terrible customer service- I have never been treated so rudely by a sales clerk in my life. My daughter and I were shopping for her prom dress. It was a Saturday and she could not decide about the dress, so we returned Monday morning for a second look. The sales clerk was rude and snippy with us when we first entered the store. My daughter tried on the dress again and decided this was the prom dress she wanted. We had been told that the dress was a discontinued style and would be discounted 10%. I asked the clerk if any further discount could be given, since the dress was a discontinued style. She abruptly interrupted my question to rudely inform me that the dress was “on sale” and not discontinued, and furthermore pointed out to me that the dress was part of a “dot sale”. She continued to rant for a minute or two more about the dress and the sale and the price. I was highly offended, but bought the dress anyway because my daughter loved it, and we left the store. I then called the owner of Cindy’s to tell her about our horrendous shopping experience, and the owner did apologize to me. She told me that the sales clerk had had a bad morning and that the clerk was usually very polite and friendly. Regardless if you had a “bad morning” or not, there is NO EXCUSE to treat a customer like dirt and to talk to them in such a hostile and degrading manner. I will NEVER shop at Cindy’s Bridal & Formal again and will NEVER recommend this store to anyone I know.
