Stanley Cabinets is probably the oldest continuously owned cabinet shop in ALL of this area and is still located at the same address. My father L.R. Stanley started a wood shop and sawmill here at this address in 1950. His father and grandfather had wood shops and sawmills in the North East part of Texas dating back to the year 1901. Their fathers and grandfathers had sawmills in Mississippi and Georgia dating back to the middle 1800's. So our family has ALWAYS been in the woodworking business in some form or another, It's definitely in our blood. Heck, when a Stanley cuts himself, he doesn't just bleed, he oozes sap!
