Stopped in on the way down to Bolivar last friday. I needed some Crown (forgot mine) Went in and of course found some and proceeded to checkout. On the way there is a freezer with Frozen pints of Gumbo and cajun bean soup and thought it to be a great meal from a motel room kitchen while staying there. Bought one of each. Got to motel room and promptly put both into motel mini fridge to thaw slowly. Next day went to beach then came back to find that Gumbo pint had a split in the plastic container draining fluid into bottom of fridge until it reached bottom of split. I cleaned everything back up and wrapped up remaining contents with a bag so as now to create another mess. We returned home on labor day and to my surprise they were open. I wanted to try the Gumbo so I went in to buy some more. (and did) When I inquired about busted container, I was met with the statement that they would do nothing about it because she didn't know if I had dropped it or how it was treated since buying it. Well. I'm here to tell them that it was treated fine on top of ice and still in bag it was purchased in. Not everyone is out to get you and there are still some good people out there, but when provoked even good people are tested and you did just that. At $16 each, I would have thought that you would have been more compassionate, but alas that didn't happen. I will share my story with anyone within listening range and beyond. I was always taught that if you do someone a good job, they will maybe only tell 1 person, but if you do someone wrong, they will tell 100. Consider this #4. I went to the source first.
