Headquartered in Evansville, Ind., Lewis Bakeries is one of the largest wholesale bakeries in Indiana. Founded in 1925, the bakery provides a variety of franchised and private label items in addition to its brand name baked goods. With more than 2,600 employees, it offers bakery products in over 10 U.S. states and frozen products throughout the United States. Lewis Bakeries provides products under several brand names, such as Bunny, Hartford Farms, Healthy Life, Gateway and Lewis. The bakery is also is a baker and distributor of products from Holsum, Sunbeam, Butternut, Sun-Maid and Roman Meal. It also maintains locations in Vincennes, Fort Wayne and LaPorte, Ind., and Murfreesboro, Tenn.
