Founded in 2006, Wabash Steel specializes in the fabrication of structural steel plate girders for highways, railroads and pedestrian bridges. The company also builds truss bridges, box girders and railroad engine underframe assemblies. It builds roof and box trusses for building and plant operations and other similar structural steel fabrication work. Wabash Steel utilizes portable computer numerical control drilling equipment for locating and drilling splices during shop assembly. The company maintains a more than 240,000 square feet of fabrication space and over 6,000 square feet of office space. It also features a storage facility for raw and fabricated steel and finished goods. Wabash Steel is owned by Kokosing Construction Company.
