I am very unhappy with our mail carrier. We have had trouble with her ever since we moved into our house. She doesn't like coming down our road because we are the only one on it. She never leaves a package, always leaves a pick up slip. I am standing on my porch watching her as she does this. So she asked if she could call before delivering. I said yes and gave her my home phone number. Now she calls and leaves a message on my answering machine that she is leaving a package, If you have to leave a message that means I am not at home. This past week, she has not come up my road but 1 time. She called me and brought me my mail on Wednesday. She was complaining because a trailor is sitting in the circle where she turns around. We moved the mailbox and put some mail in it and today, Saturday, that outgoing mail is still in my box. This is unacceptable, unreliable, and downright lazy behavior for a mail person. I want this fixed!

Everytime I Order a package and its delivered by this office they never knock on my door to deliver it. They just put a pick up slip in my mailbox and drive on. We will specificly have someone at home waiting for the package and they still say no one is there to answer. I'm not the kind of person to leave negative reviews but this is horrible service and something needs to change.

Have made numerous complaints to a Maryat the vinegrove office,,she has that I am a bother attitude..she says she tells the replacement carrier, and yesterday I had to deliver the neighbors mail,,maybe if they can't deliver,,they should supply a p.o. box..ray suggs..720 lake drive..

First, I would like to say that we are not unhappy campers at our residence. However, we are NOT happy with the carrier service that is provided to us in Vine Grove, Meade County area. Our carrier is very LAX, is inconsistent with delivery times and we often do NOT receive mailings that should be here... (for example, unemployment checks). We are aware that there are difficulties on occasion, however, we have had VERY important checks, legal papers, etc., given to us by other neighbors,... OR get a phone call from someone that they have our mail... Not even on this street. I would love to have her job and paycheck.



Next, I would like to share that when there is a problem, we are not able to report it on that day as our carrier OFTEN does not deliver mail until 4:30 or after, depending on HER plans. Call me old-fashioned, but mail used to come each day at the same time.... Vine Grove office says she doesn't even get there some days until late... so the mail for her route does not get out in such good time....



Gee, with the community growing so much, you would think that there would be a postal service in Flaherty (Meade County) to service our area, since she is so overwhelmed with her responsibility and time restraint.
