Tonight my boyfriend and I went to Cold stone for an ice cream treat. We were the only two in the store. The girl that prepared the ice cream was not wearing gloves and kept wipeing her hands on her apron that appeared to be soiled. Being in the medical field, I was a little grossed out and watched her use spoons to stir the ingredients. My boyfriends ice cream was smaller than what is normally served to us by other servers at other times. We confronted her, and she immediately argued that they only served 12 oz for the size ordered. She did not weigh the ice cream and by our judgement it appeared to be a few ounces short. Continueing to argue she did not offer another scoop of ice cream or any kind of attempts to satisfy the customer. Needless to say, we will visit other places for our Friday night ice cream. They lost a good regular customer and We will be sure to spead the word to our friends and co-workers. My advice to the manager, educate your employees on customer service and sensitivity.
