Established in 1953, Camp Jabberwocky is a private, nonprofit, charitable organization that organizes summer camps for people with disabilities. It spreads on an area of more than 12 acres and features over 15 buildings. The organization has a volunteer staff of nearly 60 people that serve approximately 100 disabled children and adults every summer. Camp Jabberwocky offers a variety of recreational activities, such as swimming, horseback riding, parasailing, hiking, fishing, sailing and jet-skiing. It also conducts painting, pottery, poetry, singing, dancing and computer classes. The organization has a skilled team of counselors and caretakers. Camp Jabberwocky is located in Vineyard Haven, Mass.
