Water's Edge is a small park. When people book, then cancel, it causes two primary issues: 1. Folks who might have stayed there book at alternative places. 2. There are costs associated with running a business. It takes someone time to make the booking, check folks in, update the data base, etc. When the reservation is canceled without benefit of the revenue, certain costs still are incurred. The $ 20 cancelation fee is fair and clearly stated on the website.

I am very disappointed in the customer service I received from Water's Edge RV & Cabin Resort. I called to cancel a reservation that I had made on the phone 2 months before the stay was scheduled and was charged a $20 cancellation fee. I can understand if it had been less than a week's notice but two months? The lady that answered the phone was BEYOND rude. I was never informed of a cancellation fee when I booked. I asked her if they typically tell people when the call to book about the fee and she again, very rudely replied "No, not always". She told me the owner would call me to discuss and I never heard from her. I am glad that I found out about the awful service before ever staying there. We will warn all of our friends not to stay there. They could use a bit of customer service training.

i would like to thank waters edge rv park we were scheduled to go there for a weekend and left friday at 4'pm on the road we broke down and had to have the truck towed to a dealer and then get another tow truck to take the 5th wheel home, waters edge didnt charge us for a cancellation and was very understanding, i cant wait to go there and stay, especially if the staff is this understanidng.
