Coastal Engineering is a small business providing quality plumbing, mechanical, and electrical engineering services to our clients. Conveniently located in Virginia Beach, VA we are within a few hours' drive of most major cities located in Virginia, Maryland, and Eastern North Carolina ; as well as in close proximity of Norfolk International Airport, which provides a gateway to wherever a project may take us. Our office utilizes the latest technologies allowing us to link ourselves to our clients and consultants via the Internet. Coastal Engineering is committed to strong client relationships while maintaining the highest level of professional service. At Coastal Engineering, our goal is to grow our business through repeat customers and their recommendations to prospective clients. To achieve these results we would rather invest our time and energy into our product and relationships in lieu of expensive and labor-intensive marketing campaigns. For this reason, every project, for every client is of the utmost importance to us. After all, satisfied clients are our best advertisement. To ensure that the client's goals and expectations are met, a principle of the firm will be involved with your project from start to finish, including final check to insure that all elements of the design are coordinated. We believe that a little extra time invested at the beginning of the project, to fully understand the clients' needs, will result in a smoother design process and a better final product ; as to produce quality construction documents is not enough. The design process needs to investigate the various solutions available to the design effort and choose the best overall solution. The best solution should take into consideration all contributing factors including the users' needs, constructability, budget, time constraints, and phasing. Our involvement with your project does not stop with the final submittal. Should a problem occur during construction, whether due to an unforeseen circumstance or a design error, we will be there working with the client and the contractor to reconcile the problem in an efficient and timely manner.
