I thought I was lucky to have found movers last minute, especially because the owner said he was giving me a great discount. Wrong. His guys showed up over 5hrs late, exhausted and stinky, then took two hours to load my stuff from my storage unit into their 16ft moving van. To their credit they were overworked. I bought them food and didn't fuss when they slowed down or took breaks. I even helped move some of my own stuff...and then was charged an extra $50 for them running 30min over schedule! Ended up having to unload everything into the garage instead of my house just to avoid any more fees. To add insult to injury, Larry, the owner, refused to give me a receipt and threatened to "file charges" on me for harassment if I ask again. Seriously!?! Needless to say, I can't say enough how disappointed and upset I am with the results and lack of professionalism by the owner. Should have know this was a con when the owner insisted "cash payment upon completion". Never again!!!
