Horrible bar. Probably the absolute worst. The bouncer at the door is a moron on a power trip and needs to check himself. He takes his job way too seriously. I realize that he has to deal with drunk people constantly, I get that, but don't start harassing people before they even get in the door. There's a difference between being a bouncer who maintains order in the bar and does his job, and being a bouncer who's a total d-bag sitting at the door with a can of bear mace, picking on kids, and getting off on how "powerful" he is. He's a joke if you ask me. And Gil's ain't worth the headache...it's not that great of a bar. I wish the local bands didn't play there so I could avoid seeing the idiots running the place. Seriously think twice before paying $10 to be harassed by some meathead. I'll be spending my money elsewhere and so will everyone I know.

This bar is laid back with awesome bands on the weekend. great place to support your locals....
