Dr. Glasson and her staff are top notch! Always friendly and ready to help. The PT staff are excellent and always ensure you are progressing, or else checking to see why progress changed, very professional. As to revolving door post, with any PT facility, each visit, and PT session can be 2-3x a week, thus co-pays add up, but you'll find this anywhere. Finally, all I can say is they are Very Professional with great patient care. You don't practice medicine on Olympic athletes without great skills...

Just Money, No Care

I took my son there for a broken hand in March 2015. First thing is they charge you, before providing any care, and before they even bill the insurance. After paying whatever they asked for, we were seen by a nurse and support staff only. We never saw the Doctor. Months after pre-paying the demanded amount, they sent a bill for additional amount. Upon calling, they do not want to explain any reason for the additional amount, and put on long holds, having no information at all. Totally unprofessional, interested in overbilling, and having no concept of patient care.

Rotating door

The billing department will charge for ridiculous things. I took my grandmother here and they left us in a room for over 2 hours. This caused her to miss another appointment. The doctor came in and basically said physical therapy after looking at her for 2 mins. I feel like this place looks to generate revenue more than they actually try to help people.

Avoid this place! I wish I ...

Avoid this place!

I wish I had read the negative reviews here and elsewhere before taking my daughter there.

My daughter was a very active girl, a competition gymnast for many years. She developed lower back problems about 2 years ago. We took her to a specialist who recommended physical therapy. She underwent PT for about a year with no improvement.

We were then referred to Glasson Sports Medicine. Dr. Glasson indicated that not all PT are specialized and she recommended that we undergo treatment at her PT facility, because they specialized in this type of treatment. My daughter went to therapy there, in the same building, right opposite her consulting rooms for several months.

After the first treatment my daughter said that the pain was relieved. We were very happy but the pain returned after a couple of days. So we persisted with the treatment for many months, hoping it would cure her rather than provide temporary relief. The PT then informed us that most probably my daughter would never be cured and would have to undergo PT for the rest of her life. That was unacceptable to me so about 2 months ago we stopped the treatment and I called the Dr's office to speak with her. I was told to make an appointment to see the Dr.

She was only available in about a month from then, which is when I had a business trip so the next appointment was another month later. (Today).

So today I arrived, was told to update all the forms, and then they asked where my daughter was. I told them we made the appointment for me to see the Dr. to discuss how to proceed because the current treatment was not working.

I was then told that she would not see me, and because my daughter was not present, they would charge me a no-show fee. I wanted to see her only for a few minutes but I was told she is busy seeing patients and would not see me.

I left and by the time I got home they had left a voicemail saying that we needed to call to schedule a follow-up appointment for my daughter because she may need more specialized PT.

I called them back stating that I was very unhappy that I had to cancel a business trip to make this appointment and the Dr. would not take 15 out of her day to see me.

After pressing the issue, I was told that she would not see me because without my daughter present, she could not bill the insurance company!!!

When I asked how more physical therapy would help, they stated that we had not used their physical therapy as recommended, but went somewhere else. But we had in fact used their facility. How they get that wrong is beyond me.

They clearly are disorganized, in our case ineffective, and care only about getting paid.
