I hired Home Instead (VB franchise) to care for my 89 year old Mother. Biggest mistake of my life! Their ladies show up late most of the time and the office never tells you so your loved one ends up sitting at home by them self. There were day when aides didn't show up at all and my Mom didn't eat anything the entire day and was never taken to the bathroom. Two weeks ago, an aide left my Mom sit be herself the entire day. When I got home my Mom was covered in urine and feces. I called the franchise owner Mike Housman and he proceeded to yell at me and then hung up on me. This paints a clear picture of the type of person he is and his complete disregard for his clients/patients. This guy knows nothing about the home healthcare business.
