Im 51 years old and in my third year of Hapkido study at Kims Hapkido. I absolutely love this studio! Master Kim is a kind and patient teacher with high standards and expectations; he is also a mentor and friend to his adult students. While the Hapkido kicking, punching, and sparring drills provide a fantastic physical workout, the self-defense joint-lock techniques engage and challenge the problem-solving areas of the brain. Master Kim also has a vast knowledge of the histories and philosophies of Hapkido and other martial arts styles, and this knowledge informs the classroom atmosphere. After each class, I leave the studio with a sense of mental and physical well-being which stays with me for the remainder of the day. If you are at all interested in learning a martial art, this is the place for you.

I am so pleased with this studio!! My 4 year old son is learning so much and he really enjoys going. Master Kim is exactly the type of instructor that can get the job done right. He is nice to the kids but firm. He teaches respect, eye contact, self defense, discipline and so much more. I shopped around to find a studio that was a good fit for us and I?m very thankful that I found Kim?s Hapkido!

I highly recommend Kim's Hapkido. Not only will your kid's learn self defense they will also learn valuable "life" lessons that will follow them forever. Master Kim is wonderful!
