LOVE this vet hospital!! I bought a sick mastiff from a local puppy store who was being treated by another vet office per the puppy store rules for TWO MONTHS!! I got sick of their awful care there so I took her to General Booth Vet where I take my other dogsas well. Dr Sorrell fixed her right up in 2 weeks time :) The staff knows Emma (my mastiff) by name and at every visit we are treated so nicely. They DO NOT mix sick animals with other pets in the lobby and their clinic is very well maintained. While Emma was sick and going there they sanitized right behind us making sure where ever she walked was sanitized. A++++++ Vet!

What a great staff of vets and support folks. My dog was loosing weight rapidly.. What I appreciated the most was the upfront and clear way treatment and costs were explained. I never felt pressured or unsure of what my options were. And, they were able to tell me what to expect which was a real blessing for my family as she continued to decline.. Last week I had to put her down. The experience at General Booth was great. The staff and vets were extremely sensitive have a well thought out and thoughtful process that makes a difficult day easier.. I highly recommend this vet.

I have been taking my pets to General Booth Veterinary Hospital for 17 years. They are the best veterinarians that I have gone to over the years. I recommend them to all my friends. Dr. Paul Francios is an excellent vet and is very knowledgeable. The other vets that work there are great, also. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Over the years, I have been there numerous times, Mostly, for routine visits, and on several occasions, for emergency care. They have been very helpful, and always managed to take care of my pets. I have lost 4 dogs and two cats over the years; three dogs of which had to be euthanized, due to health issues, from old age. The staff has always been sympathetic and kind. Dr. Francios even called to see how I was doing, the following day. I can't say enough good things about them.

We have taken our very old shelter rescue dog to Dr. Hundley since we've had her. Recently, we found Tasha stretched out and unable to get on her feet. Close to 6pm, I called the hospital and they advised me to either bring her in there or to the Emergency Vets on Lynnhaven Pkwy. We opted to take her to General Booth. The receptionist told me that they would work her into the scheduled appointments already waiting and that it may take some time but they would not let her be in any pain. When we arrived at General Booth, two assistants immediately went to the car, climbed in the 2 door back seat of my small Toyota, picked her up and carried her into an examination room. Dr. Hundley was not on duty that day but Dr. Morton treated Tasha as soon as she was placed in the room. She is doing well and still with us. They are an unbelievable team of very caring doctors. Additionally, their staff is top notch! Tasha is over 70 lbs and was carried in the assistant's arms. That is premier service and exceptional caring.
