This is someplace you do not want to live. The apartments are cheap. There is no isulation to keep you warm. The cold air will blows through your apartment and maintenance simply told me the heating units were not adequate and belonged in houses down south. He told me I would have to use emergency heat to stay warm and then my electric bill went from $78.00 a month to $200.00 a month. I was still not warm and had to wear long johns in the house. The employees in the office have no idea what they are doing. They change employees every several months. They will put a notice on your door that you did not pay all of your rent when you actually paid more that you owe. Things will stay broken. Maint. will come fix things eventually when you call but it will break again and again. The walls and floors are paper thin. You can hear everything in the apartment next to you or above you and I do mean EVERYTHING! If you are a light sleeper, forget getting any sleep if you live at Marina Shores. If you hate bugs, do not even think about moving here. They have 2-3 inch long giant wood roaches or Palmetto bugs as the management likes to call them. It is still a roach and they fly and will land on your face while you are sleeping. It takes an act of congress to get the exterminator to come and the roaches never really go away. This is by far my worst apartment experience ever. I am moving as soon as I can. I have not even been here a year.
