If Ray can’t fix it — it can’t be fixed😉 He is straightforward and goes above and beyond.

Riding Craftsman mower would not start. Tried replacing as much as I could. Finally called Ray during the XMAS season. He came over, just as promised in within 20 minutes, I heard the mower running. Had surgery so I was hiring a Lawn Service (which was adding up). I can now get those leaves and pine needles I've looked at for months. Very reasonable and quick work. Will keep his number on speed dial.. Thanks again Ray!!!

We had the oil indicator light come on in our lawn tractor. Ray was recommended by a business in Virginia Beach. We live in Portsmouth. Ray gave us a quote, and said he could come out Friday or Saturday. Schedule conflict. He said he could come out on Tuesday or Wednesday. He asked for information about our Big Red Horse lawn tractor. We got the information to him, and then we NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN! We called and I texted him on at least two more occasions. Not even the courtesy of a response. No "I changed my mind about coming to Churchland." We ended up going through Lowe's and the repair company was great. They took care of our lawn tractor, reset the oil light indicator, and we are back in business. We were very disappointed in his lack of professionalism. We had to wait longer, we believed him when he said that he would come out. We can't speak for his knowledge or experience, since we did not experience either.

Professional, courteous, funny, a good storyteller and a lawnmower that is in tip top shape. That's pretty good considering i ancient and has not had its oil changed for too long for me to say. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

What a great experience! wish everyone was so honest, dependable & quick at responding. Ray arrived on time and it took him less than 5 min. to determine problem. Would recommend him to anyone. I called Ray early Saturday am and he had a technician out same day who was very experienced and had me up and running in about 20 minutes!!!

I used to dread spring's arrival, not because I wasn't sick of winter, but because I had to start all over again trying to find tune-up and repair service for our lawnmowers to keep this big yard in shape.

Now we really do look forward to spring and summer, and neither one of us minds cutting the grass because our riding mower, push mower, and grass trimmer all work more smoothly than the day we first bought them. Due to water in my mower's fuel tank. I had more problems with my mower after Ray fixed it (of course I did not know my mower was suffering from water in my fuel tank.). He came back out the next day and discovered I had water in my fuel, which will shut down a mower immediately. He had my mower up and running in no time at no extra cost to me. This keeps me from worrying that my wife will be without a mower while I am on deployment with the military to the desert over seas. It never hurts to reduce worry about your family when you are in the military like I am.

Soooo awesome. In about 30 minutes, he got my lawn mower all fixed and ready for the season. Definitely recommend.

Ray is my hero. For about three years now, he and his son have responded to varying degrees of desperation on my part from impending hurricanes and my generator won't start to my general abuse of not using fresh gas or stabilizer in my lawn equipment. The problem is the way gasoline is refined and it degenerates so quicky. Algae in my carb bowl? Yes. My bad. If you care, Ray will explain why these problems arise and how you can prevent them. Mobile Mechanix is a valuable resource on the rolodex.

Called yesterday, fully expecting a few days wait. Much to my pleasant surprise, Ray said he could get to my mower the same day!! I'm still amazed at his speedy response. He arrived when he said he would and was incredibly pleasant, getting to work on the mower right away. He suggested a few options for handling a really worn out blade; I never once felt as if he was trying to pressure me into spending more money. This guy really knows what he's doing. He's the only one I'll ever have work on my mower. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him!!!

I made an appointment with Ray from Mobile Mechanix. He repaired and tuned up my push mower. He replaced the pull string, changed the oil, replaced the spark plug and even sharpened the blade! He finished everything in under an hour! Professional guy with everything he needed to get the job done right.
