Provided by YP.comThis bank did. I never signed the check that I sent thru to the teller that I asked her to cash and also to give me cash from my checking account also. When I returned home I realized I didn't have the cash from the check... but then I realized that I was retarded and didn't sign it so of course they wouldn't cash it, and on my receipt she gave back it only showed the transaction for the cash I asked for out of my account. But after contacting every person I was able to reach by having to call customer service to ask them to call the Lynnhvaen branch for me after I explained to them the situation, I was told by all availble supervisor Aleena that they had a no receipt policy for cashing checks, and they have a stamp checking process in which they are aloud to stamp the customer check if not signed if they are DEPOSITING it, but only after they call the customer. I asked why I was not called ans she said cause I cashed it. She said her draw turned out even but since I did not stop and verify the amount I had before I left they can not prove what happened before or after I left. I asked for a receipt of some sort just showing me the transaction occured she explained to me there was none. It wold not show up on my account, and there was no way for me to ever track it because it was the banks personal files that I was not aloud to see. So there was no way to track it, no way to prove, no signed check by the person cashing the check, and their drawer was even so I the customer was obviously retarded. I actually had one customer service lady ask me to check between my car seats. I had one envelope lady. Some of the money didn't sneek out on vacation. So finally I talk to Andria Vanslyke the Lynnhvane Branch manager, who had reviewed my case, but didn't ask my side of the story or what happened, or how I felt, or how I was treated, or what would appease me the customer, and yet I am the criminal untl proven nothing. The only different thing she told me was that Aleena was incorrect by saying that the teller was aloud to stamp my check and cash it, but the only thing she could do out of the kindness of her heart was to reimburse me checks that bounced because yes I went and bought my kid some winter clothers the next day with the money I was expecting to have cashed anyways, because this seems like a no brainer. The bank is aloud to cash unsigned checks with no proof to the customer what so ever. What doesn't sound right about that? When I tried to reach the regional manager I was told she was to hard to find she worked in so many offices to write them a letter. I sold almost all of my clothes to a consignment shop to get that check to buy my son winter clothes and guess what $80 is enought to buy him a winter wardrobe but no one really cares except that you just go away and they will make it impossible for you to do otherwise with constant loops and no one who can actually listen, think, and then help. So the bank makes 1. Mistake no signature on check but it's cashed but don't worry we will blame the customer for not noticing till she got home. 2. There is no way to get into direct contact with anyone at the local office you have to be routed thu 1-800 and they have to think you have special permission to call the people handling your money. Just to you let you know.
