Pembroke Enterprises, Inc., the parent company of Pembroke Commercial Realty Corp, is built on a foundation which can be traced back to 1955. Today, through its Development and Construction Division, its purpose is to develop land on which to build offices, shopping centers, industrial facilities, apartments, condominiums and single-family homes. In the forty years that they have been in business, company principals Frederick Napolitano and Richard Olivieri have been involved in developing over 2, 000, 000 square feet of commercial property-office buildings, office parks and shopping centers, including Hampton Roads' first enclosed regional mall, Pembroke Mall. They have also built over 13, 000 residential units, including single-family homes, apartments and condominiums. The volume of its development activity has placed the company on several industry publications' lists of the top 400 developers in the United States.
