Peninsula Cleaning Service were fast and curteous and did a good job on the floors of my new business, although they were more expensive than some others. They told me this was because they put more coats of wax on the floor and used better quality product.



However, when I found out from my floor installer that the area waxed was smaller than I initially thought when I ordered the waxing, Peninsula Cleaning Service wouldn't talk to me anymore. They insisted on getting paid for the overestimated area, although they of course didn't wax more than what was actually there.



Having run a service company, I know that if we estimate that a job will take 4 hours but only spend 3, we don't bill the customer for 4 hours! This is poor customer service and very short-sighted of the owner/manager (who knows about the issue), because I'll be requiring regular maintainance of my floors, but it will be from another company than his!
