If I could give you one advise about this place I will tell you not to move in. If you continue reading; you will see why. The biggest issue I have had with this place is the air conditioner. I pay to live in an apartment with central air. The AC keeps breaking, It is September now and I have spent the past 4 months without the AC working properly. The do fix it, it takes them a few days and then it breaks again. They decided to put an ugly window unit in the bedroom only, it barely works. In the process of putting the AC unit in, they scratched my new computer chair which cost me $110.00, it is not a cheap Ikea chair. The rest of my apartment feels like a sauna now.

Moving on to the rest of the issues I have with this apartment complex. The Water tank leaked water all over the laundry room and caught fire. Luckily I had baking soda and was able to put it out. They replaced it the next day. The garbage disposal kept breaking until they replaced it. The hood on top of the stove broke, they fixed it and it just broke again today. They have double windows for storm protection which is good, except it takes serious power to open and close them and they are loud (my neighbours agree about that. If you like to see a dog poop bag under your mailbox this is the perfect place for you. There is even dog poop in the tennis court. Not to mention that the siding of the building is disgusting, there are spider webs and dust all over it. What a sight to see.

I forgot to mention that if you like to have people over, you receive only one guest parking ticket and the visitor spots are always taken. Your friends will most likely get towed. One of the people working in the office advised me to have my friends park at the mcdonalds across the street???

Before moving in, we decided on Reflections due to their location, amenities like the dog park, pool, and racquet ball court, and the fact that it seemed nice compared to most other complexes. However, upon moving in, we noted several items that needed to be fixed, such as the front door jamb was broken. As soon as we walked in to do the initial walk-through, there was a cockroach, which the guy squashed himself and continued on without cleaning it. Several more were found in the first 24 hours. The maintenance department only fixed one of the many items noted, including the front door jamb. We contacted the office several times throughout our 11 months of occupancy about these items, and we never saw anything get fixed. There was no grace period for rent payments, and if it was a day late, we were charged $100. They never mentioned that guests had to pay for the pool until we tried to go. The dog park is a converted tennis court that is locked half the time. There was a while when people were letting their dogs run loose, which would come up to my dog and go crazy in his face. The staff was not very helpful, and at the beginning, we were told that the people who could take care of our issues were all on maternity leave and there wasn't anyone else who could do it. The grounds after a storm were not kept up. Upon moving out, besides a few stains on the carpet from the dog (which we paid an extra $300 pet fee to cover extra expenses involved) the apartment was probably more clean when we left than when we moved in. Yet, not only did we not get any of our security deposit back, we were also charged an extra $200 for "cleaning." We highly recommend finding another complex....they had us fooled. Don't let them fool you.
