purchased an Acura TSX dec 2013. we've had multiple problems with the vehicle. Dealership has been to no help, sales woman has been No help since she made her sale. Would not recommend what so ever. should be blacklisted. had our first inspection since purchasing the car and there are too many problems with it for just being purchased a year ago. 1 star is giving them too much credit already.
as other commenters said engine lights come on after a few days. horrible. such a rip off.

I recently purchased a 2009 c300 Mercedes and have had a nightmare with the purchase every since! PLEASE DO BOT BUY CARS FROM HERE THEY RIG THEM AND THEY ARE LEMONS...they will break down as soon as the 3 month warranty is out..BEWARE! STOP and do your research on this company!!

I usually don't write reviews but I'm so frustrated with my acura mdx I purchased from here not even a year ago. first problem was the car needed an alignment which was supposed to be done later found out that didn't really happen. second the front light had a short in it and the sales person sent that to be fixed. well service didn't see anything wrong. Get the car home 2 weeks later the battery is no good (over a hundred dollars). then the light bulb has a short again ( over a hundred dollars to replace) a month after that the breaks go. couple of weeks after that the timing belt needs to be replace.Not to mention the car starts making a loud rattling noise which is the catalytic converter shield..now today the transmission light is on. I understand this was a use car but for me to have not had this car not even a year is ridiculous. I will never buy another car from here. People tried to warn me about this place but I didn't listen.

I was worried about buying a used car on the Blvd. We have all heard the nightmare stories about the various dealerships..a used car is just that..used. There's always going to be something that's not perfect. I expressed this when I went into Select Imports..I was met by a Saleswoman named Jay Jones. Ms. Jones was knowledgable, professional and she took the fear out of the buying experience. She knew a lot about the S550 I was looking at and she made the loan process fly by. I highly recommend Select Imports and if your heading in...I highly suggest you ask for Jay Jones 499-9800

I purchased a 03 Ford Explorer for my wife from them on 2/20/13. The vehicle was advertised with a 30 day warranty, but because I was paying cash the warranty was not offered to me (Should have been a red flag at this point). So I proceed with the purchase knowing the truck had low mileage and what was 30 days going to do anyhow (I couldn’t have been more wrong). I drove the truck about 5 miles home. The next morning while my wife is on her way to work the check engine light comes on. I figure no big deal. On 2/25/13 I take the truck to the local Tread Quarters to get the issue fixed. To my surprise the truck has a cracked intake manifold ($1,000.00 repair). To top it off it was found that the check engine light was cleared just before my purchase. I would avoid this dealer at all cost. Any dealer that knowingly clears engine codes without any repair work completed and sells the vehicle should not be trusted!

Don't Trust them...They will g...

At first I did not Trust them...I felt they were so quick to sell u something and take your money, but they will not fix anything and try to sell you their own warranty which is just as bad. They have nice luxury cars, but the downfall is they all have alot of miles. It all started with that terrible salesperson. He kept calling for every little thing just to get me in there and sign my life away. When I finally came to pick up my car they didn't clean it and I had to wash it myself. They have terrible customer service and the salesperson kept trying to pressure us into giving him more money as a favor for him doing his OWN JOB. The engine lights come on in all their vehicles after a few days of driving them...I will say that I decided to change this review due to the owner contacting us and expressing concern. He fix everything like he said he would and showed that he cares about his customers and his company. He really change my opinion about Select imports.

Save your self the trouble and don't buy from the establishment they will tell you what sounds good to get your money and its all lies and they are very unprofessional it appears as if they are a bunch of friends hanging out which is a huge turn off if u like privacy and the in house financing the offer is on of the biggest ripoff that comes with a high interests rate and soon as u are a week late with you car note or insurance he puts your car up for repo then when you inquire about getting it back no one knows anything the tell you that you have to talk to the own he is impossible to get in contact with and when u finally do get to talk with him he tell you that the repo fees add up to about just as much as you put down for the car BEWEAR

We offer in-house financing to some of our customers as an accomodation if they are unable to secure satisfactory financing uisng outside banks. They are under no obligation to use our financing. Occasionally, like any other lender, if the customer gets behind on his notes the vehicle has to be reposessed as the only means of mitigating the lender's losses. In this case the customer was several months late, had no insurance and hid the vehilce from us causing us to incur further costs. We are always sorry when such an event happens, but like any lender we are left with no alternative when the customers doesn't meet their obligations.

I had a great experience buyin...

I had a great experience buying my 2006 LR3 from Select Imports. From the moment I stepped on their lot in Va Beach, everyone was helpful in determining the best vehicle for my needs. As i was showed each car and then drove several, I was amazed as to how clean they were and how they felt like a new car. I did my research and compared Select's prices with all the local used car dealers and even the Land Rover dealer and I was amazed as to how good Select's prices are. In fact, many private sellers wanted far more for their vehicles. Obviously, the owner from Select knows how to buy cars that have been loved and avoid those which have been abused. Even though my car had relatively high miles, I left the lot confident knowing that I had made a great deal for a high end import at a fraction of the price it would have cost new. Why ever buy a new one ? I will go back there again.

Bought a car for my son and wo...

Bought a car for my son and wow what a lemon. Called Select imports the day after they brought it home as it was not running to ask where to take it and what to do. Got all sorts of run arounds. No returned phone calls to me or my son. Needless to say very frustrated as the problem that was wrong should have been caught before the car left the Lot. So three tows later and almost $3000.00 in repair bills we finally have the car running half way decently. Won't do business with these folks again. These folks had plenty of time to get this taken care of before the car was picked up. Very frustrating experience.

I puchased a used 05 BMW 750 L...

I puchased a used 05 BMW 750 LI and the salesman at Select imports sold me an extended warranty that isn't valid and wont cover the BMW I bought.I've been dealing with a repair issue on this car for a month and don't seem to be getting anywhere with them.I keep calling and they tell me they don't know and that they will call me back but nobody ever calls back.I'm seeking a lawyer at this point because I've made two payments on a car that's been in the shop this whole time.The first problem was when I cantacted the warranty company to see about getting my truck fixed they hadn't received payment for my warranty that I paid for yet and this was three months after I had bought the car .I called triple b and they told me they had forgot to send in the payment.So this whole ordeal has been a mess from the start.And the only reason I bought this Car was because they told me they could get me a warranty on it.So I guess we will see what the court system can do to get this matter resolved.
