Stain Studios was highly recommended to me for my next tattoo. From the minute I walked in, Cain was friendly and extremely helpful. As an "older" woman, he was quickly able to put me at ease. Answering all of my questions patiently, he set me up with John ("Thrasher") to have my tattoo done. John was amazing! Easy to talk to, answered all my remaining questions and went to work creating an original from my idea. John did a beautiful job with his artistry and I am the proud owner of his original artwork! I went into Stain Studios just to check out the shop. I ended up getting tattooed by Glenn. The shop is very clean and the artists Are all talented. Alot of shops around here have assh*les working in them. My tattoo looks great, and I will be back after deployment!

Simply the best in the area. Very talented artists who make you feel comfortable with the procedures by providing a very sterile environment and a positive attitude. I've been here several times and it is the only shop in Hampton Roads I get work from done now. As someone with many tattoos, most of them done in the area, Stain Studios is definitely my place of choice. You won't find better artists. I'll be coming back.

Wonderful, dedicated artists. Sweeney is doing a full back tree for me, I would highly recommend this place to anyone interested in having a wonderful tattoo experience.

I go to a tattoo shop to get tattooed, but walked in and this place is beautiful! Didn't expect to see all the art on the walls instead of boring flash, plush couches, totally private rooms, big TV's on the walls in the booths, great music playing and cleaner than any medical facility I've ever been in. There is tons of art on the walls all custom by each artist.

I had no intentions of getting a tattoo that day. Jus walked n to checkout the shop and the portfolios and I got "the itch". Aaron is great. I will be back and highly recommend.

Brand new custom tattoo shop, 8 of the best artists in the area. Walk ins always welcomed. 8 private tattoo procedure rooms , they have the cleanest and most sterile shop I have ever been in. Stop by anytime and you will not only get the best tattoo but you will get a work of body art to be proud of.
