This afternoon, I had the unfortunate interaction with a store employee who greeted by screaming insults at me as I came from the neighborhing store, FedEx. I parked along the curve to drop off an oversized box in the FedEx store (as a petite woman, walking from the parking lot to the store would’ve been daunting). I was in the store less than a minute and when I returned to my car to move it to the designated parking lot, the employee was waiting for me (in 95 degree weather) screaming that I should not be parked there. Clearly I must’ve missed the no parking sign (that does not exist). When I explained to her that I was dropping a large item off and was now moving my vehicle, she continued yelling. At that point I returned to FedEx to complete my transaction and the woman threatened to call the police (because apparently that’s the thing to say to Black people in Trump’s America). As I walked into the store I heard her scream, “That’s what’s wrong with YOU PEOPLE!” I wondered if she meant “you people who unload large boxes” or perhaps “you people with short hair and flawless skin” because surely she couldn’t have meant, “you people” as in you BLACK people. Regardless of the racial undertones in her interaction with me, a woman who was merely trying to unload a box, this woman clearly has no business working in customer service as her conflict resolution skills and professionalism is truly lacking in character and integrity. She represented this business poorly and if her behavior is any indication in how she treats customers, I would RUN!

I have had a repair done here previously that was excellent. That excellent purchase made me return for this purchase. Wouldn't have gone anywhere else since the service is amazing and the selection is wonderful as well. Would recommend fully to anyone and everyone.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST!! They must really need the money pretty bad to make me have to take them to court over a disputed credit card charge. I called them to get some beads for my wife for Christmas. I was told over the phone that the beads would be there in 30 days. NOT!!! It took 32 days. It was too late for Christmas. It was too late period. Then to top it off, they said they would not credit my card back for a refund of NON RECEIVED MERCHANDISE for an order they took over the phone and never told me about a no refund policy. LIARS! So, I had to file a dispute with the Merchant and now will be taking them to court to top it off. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!

I am completely satisfied with my engagement ring and wedding ring. They treated me with the utmost respect and courtesy. They even gave my daughter a free pearl necklace! I would encourage anyone looking for high quality jewelry to go to Tidewater Keepsake!
