I'd give 4.5 to this place. Someone recommended me to them, and when I researched them before going, they had some low ratings on google. I decided to go anyway to see if they would install a roof rack on my car for a kayak. I've been back twice - both times, as soon as I walked into the store, someone asked me if I needed help. The first time, I told them I wanted advice about the roof rack. The guy there did some research and gave me some options about what to purchase. I had already done research on rackattack.com, and the prices that Wild River quoted me were on par (I had expected them to be more expensive since they are a small store.) They installed the roof rack system for free. I went back for a kayak seat, and they didn't have any on the shelves, but scrounged one up to sell me that they hadn't inventoried yet. Both experiences were positive. I only wish they had more variety in what they're selling. For example, their prices were high for a kayak cart, and I had found cheaper prices elsewhere. They didn't mention anything about meeting the cheaper price or special ordering something. But beyond that, both visits were positive. Both people I dealt with there knew a lot about kayaks, and I feel I was in and out both times because they knew their business. I would recommend them to anyone looking for kayaks. (They sell other stuff, but can't speak to that.)
