We have been with Highlands Wireless and Preferred Networks for over 8 years. We have found them to be what an Internet Service Provider is supposed to be. We have service both at our home and at our office and both have been great. Our business relies heavily on the internet and we start at 6am at home using it, then we go to the office at 8 and we have 6 employees and all have VoIP phones that require perfect internet to work right. Latency and jitter kills VoIP phones and their service does it perfectly which save us lot of $$ Frontier wanted over $500 a month for our level of phone service! We did it with VoIP for under $200! We did have some issues a few years ago, but when we purchased and more commercial type of router all the problems went away. When we get home a night I still work but the kids start streaming movies and shows and I am on the AT&T microCell because AT&T has crap coverage in Mason Valley and I can continue to conduct business as needed. So at least from 6am to 11pm the service works great. As for customer service, they answer the phone 24x7 and I get a real human that speaks real English!! I will admit the John the owner is a bit direct and to the point but that is how “Engineer types” are. So 5 stars for the service and 4 stars for John being politically correct and warm and fuzz……which I don’t care about. Just continue to keep the network working like you have for the last 8 years and I’m happy!!
