First off, this review is given a two-star because Barcelona is a very beautiful place to live as far as apartments go and it's conveniently located near a freeway and shopping.



Pleasantries aside - maintenance doesn't get done, deposits aren't given back fairly, there are cockroach problems, ventilation is inadequate to keep out smelly neighbors, the office is rarely open, the management is not helpful, they don't return calls, and they don't keep maintenance records. My wife and I are currently suing them...enough said.



We did enjoy the DVD library they stock up each month and the recreation room was convenient for family gatherings. And since it's located in Visalia, the pool was awesome to have as well (it would be nice if they would heat for winter though).



We lived there for four years and when we first moved in, they said they were working on getting a fitness center and more apartments built on. However, this never happened.



Sadly, we do NOT recommend Barcelona Apartments. The problems outweigh the positives and there are many other apartments close by that may offer it the other way around!
