North County Self Defense
35 Main St, Vista, CA 92083
About Our School North County Self Defense has been serving North County San Diego for over 10 years. Our school was founded on the principal of teaching "life skills". "Life skills" as we define it means that we will seek to take what we learn in the school into our everyday lives. "Life skills" like respect, discipline, honesty and confidence are what we want to apply in our everyday lives. Why study North County Self Defense? It's actually quite simple, we teach a whole lot more than just how to punch and kick! In addition to our main location we offer classes at the Rancho Santa Fe Community Center. We have taught for The College for kids on the Palomar College campus. Our instructors continue to teach in the Oceanside, Vista, and San Marcos Unified School Districts in conjunction with Kids College. Through this association we have been able to offer martial arts to thousands of kids over the past 5 years. Each year we award hundreds of free academic scholarships to deserving students in North County. In the city of Carlsbad we have participated in countless school assemblies and carnivals educating kids on anti bullying and stranger danger techniques free of charge. In the city of Oceanside we have taught women self defense classes for the Women's Resource Center. On Camp Pendleton we have taught individual Marine units as well as groups of military wives. These are just a few of the ways we have touched North County Community. "In to the world and out of the school" is our slogan. We are dedicated to making our community the best it can be!
