Each project is assigned to one of our principal licensed engineers. This engineer will be involved from the project's conception, contract negotiations, to the occupancy of the project by the client. This provides a single point of contact during the design life of the project. 'Mega' firms provide high profile engineers during the proposal contractual stages, but at project design 'kick-off', the engineering services are typically shuffled to the lesser experienced design staff. In contrast, all BSP employees' innovative problem-solving abilities, arsenal of design software, commitment to detail, and customer responsiveness directly contribute to the firm's success. BSP's employees enjoy the challenge and work environment. BSP has adopted an aggressive in-house training program. We have instituted various lunch seminars in which every employee is encouraged to attend and participate. The luncheons are used as a means to train employees in new methods and design techniques. Each of BSP employees are trained to know exact step by step procedures through which every successful project must travel. We encourage building strong relationships with our clients through listening to their needs. A deep understanding of the client's needs assist us in determining the most appropriate plan of action. The plan may include verbal recommendations, full engineering analysis and reports, or indication of the need for development of a new project including surveys, design and complete contract documents. BSP has been in business since 1990, providing engineering design and surveying services for Municipalities, School Districts, Water Supply Corporations, Universities, and the private sector. Beach, P.E. as strictly a Civil Engineering company. The firm integrated topography surveying services in 1995. A second office was opened in Waco, Texas in 2003 after much deliberation and careful planning. The new office was established within its geographical area to cater to the expanding customer base. In 2005, Jed Sulak, P.E. was added to the BSP team to operate the Waco office. Currently, BSP employs a dedicated staff of individuals including 4 professional engineers, 2 engineers in training, 3 project managers, and 4 civil design technicians. The production staff is supported by an administrative staff including a business manager, marketing director, and general administration personnel. BSP also has a field survey crew equipped with the latest state-of-the-art survey equipment and software. Our firm's founder and current president attributes the firm's success to "delivering projects on time, on budget, and with little or no construction changes."
