Cesar Chavez PDS Middle is an educational institution that offers a range of academic and recreational opportunities for more than 500 students. The school maintains a work force of over 35 teachers. It has over 20 classrooms and is a part of the Waco Independent School District, which governs several elementary, middle and high schools. The Waco Independent School District s schools provide various athletic opportunities, such as basketball, football, soccer, volleyball, and track and field. The district serves nearly 15,000 students in kindergarten through grade 12. It offers several educational programs in aviation and information technology, as well as maintains finance and engineering academies.
