Tennyson Middle School enrolls more than 600 students in grades six through eight. The school is a part of the Waco Independent School District, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools. Its general academic curriculum includes subjects, such as mathematics, science, social studies and language arts. Tennyson Middle School also provides programs in Spanish, choir, drama, orchestra, band, art and physical education. It organizes history exhibitions, book fairs and talent shows. Tennyson Middle School also provides accelerated reader and lighted school programs. It operates a student council and art, beta, math, recycling and newspaper clubs. In addition, the school provides the English as a Second Language program. Tennyson Middle School is located in Waco, Texas.
