Waco’s longest continuously owned barbeque restaurant was started in 1978 by Dan Henderson and partners F.E. “Buck” Massey and Elsie Dieterman. The original location was 1521 Wooded Acres Drive. Uncle Dan’s Barbeque really started to flourish in 1980 when Dan married Clara McNulty, a Baylor graduate and experienced restaurateur.

No review's yet...Wow! Uncle Dan's is the best "Damn" barbecue restaurant in the whole state. I have been to many barbecue restaurant across the state and I can say... none of them can hold a candle to Uncle Dan's. My favorite is the lean brisket plate with "Yellow" potatoe salad and greenbeans.
