What a joke! I actually have insurance, provided to the desk and they are demanding a copay without running my benefits first. I tried explaining to the lady that if she ran my benefits she would see my out of pocket maximum has been met for the year! Explained my insurance covers at 100% now. She didn't want to hear anything I had to say, said she had no way of checking my benefits. I offered to show her via my phone. Again she demanded the coast. I do medical billing for a living and know my insurance benefits!! This is the second time I've gone their and the same lady at the front desk has no idea what she's doing. To collect money from a patient that is not their responsibility is fraud. No, Im not waiting for a refund after you Bill my insurance. How can an urgent care office not have accessibility to run insurance benefits?

Our experience was lackluster and disappointing to say the least. After rushing my fiance through the door in under 15 minutes and telling her she had allergies(she had been on allergy medication for 3 days at this point) and giving her sinus infection medication with cough syrup. I called them back the next day telling them that I felt a little disappointed in the service because she had deep congestion, a fever, and that the cough medication did not subdue her cough and she had been up all night. Their response included a call to my fiance( in a defensive manner, from someone different than I talked to, with his facts all misconstrued making her more upset and feeling worse!! When I tried to call them back they ignored all calls. Oh, and we did ask for a primary care referral which they did not give. If I could give a half star instead of 1 I would.

Thanks a lot Wake Forest Urgent Care! You have not only lost all of our future business but all the people I know in North Raleigh and Wake Forest too. Way to handle your business!

Dr. Clark, the woman I originally spoke to was nice, the guy that called back....should be let go.

This place was extreemly expensive. My wife went to FastMed with a sinus infection, met with a registered nurse for a very short appointment, and we recieved a bill for $258.00. The BCBS contracted rate for our insurance plan was $178.00 so we recieved some relief. I called to complain about the high cost and was pretty much this is what they charge. I would highly recommend anyone who plans to go there to find out what the cost of the service will be before you go behind the curtain. If you do not have insurance for get it. $258 to see a nurse? Give me a break!!!
