My husband and I were trying to find a campground with a slip for our 28 foot boat for a long weekend. We called Stephanie at Bush Park and were told, after we asked two times, that they had power at the docks. We needed power to keep our batteries charged and to run heat/hot water in the boat. We also asked whether there was enough water in the channel to get our boat out to the bay and were told there was plenty. Imagine our surprise when we got the boat into the slip and saw there was no power. Indeed we were surprised again when we tried to get out of the channel into the bay and almost grounded our boat due to lack of water. Whatever you do, do not believe anything that anyone in the office tells you, they WILL lie to you. We went to the store/front office to ask about power and the person who dealt with the power happened to be there. He confirmed, after hemming and hawing for a minute that indeed there was no power. Had we known that we never would have stayed there.

The campground itself is nice, seems very clean and spacious. However the people there are extremely shady and not friendly at all. BEWARE of the woman in spot B4, it's at the corner of Spot Street and Bushpark Circle. Woman is crazy.

This is a very nice campground but sadly the staff are extremely RUDE. It is sad that you go to a place to relax and have a nice time but have to contend with people that must be unhappy with their lives and it shows in every word that comes out of their mouths and every action that they take. I guess all I can do is pray that they find some joy and are able to spread that around instead of the discontentment that they are expressing currently. I will never go back there again and certainly will not recommend this campground to anyone. I didn't want to give any stars but the page wouldn't let me sign off without giving at least one...but they do not deserve it.
