Provided by YP.comUpon initial visit, the tech. seemed inexperienced and worked extremely slow. Braiding type was not suited for my texture of hair and shop owner had to complete braiding in order to make hairstyle look professional.
When returning for a touch up, the techs. at shop were not welcoming to customers and seemed to purposely exclude by speaking only in their native language among themselves. The only communication with customer was about money/payment.
The owner @ return visit rushed to complete job, it was sloppy , and she seemed as if she did not want to do it. I confronted her about her slopppy workmanship and she insisted on additional money to make it professional looking & created a lame excuse for that. I refused to pay it.
It seems that this salon thrives only to "take" customers' money with little/no concern about good "customer service". What makes these folk feel that they are superior to their African American paying customer(s) and can offer them poor service?

Provided by YPmobileMy granddaughter had an appointment at this shop yesterday at 10:00 am. Her mom takes her to the shop before 10:00 and is told to come back at 1 pm and call before coming. A friend offer to pay for her braid was told by someone there that they take checks and credit card so the friend gave my granddaughter a cashier check for 150.00 dollars so she would not get robbed carrying around this much money. So let's get back to appointment so they called at 1:00 pm and it was okay for her to come. They did her braid but when it was time to pay. They lady says we do not take cashier's checks. To make it worse it escalated to point the business women in this shop got so impersonal they said they were going to call the po po. How ghetto. Stay out if you like to be treated professionally, go if you can deal with the ghetto mentality.

Provided by YP.comHad a hair appointment at 7am. Arrived to one stylist working with a client. She called my stylist in. She showed up 10-15 minutes later with one sock on and flip flops.
When I got in the chair I informed her of what type of style I wanted and somehow the price I quoted on the phone was increased by $40. I informed her this was not what I was told over the phone then she proceed by saying ok I can give you a $20 discount. No - give me the price I was given on the phone and stop trying to pocket extra cash.
Needless to say I told her thank you for coming; however I'll try another braiding service.
Would not recommend this place due to he unprofessional stylist currently there.
