I am very perplexed with these stores..and perhaps this particular one more-so.



As another reviewer mentioned, yes...some of their items (toys, baby gear, etc) are WAY overpriced for being second-hand. Yet, if you are looking for books or clothing, it isn't *AS* bad, but you have to be picky.



I've seen things they've purchased that are on their racks that have been shrunk two sizes or are fuzz-balled, etc....I can 't speak for everyone, but I certainly wouldn't put that on my kid. They obviously are buying Walmart, Kmart, and Target brands (Meijer, etc) as they are numerous on their racks, but FORGET what I brought in....



At the same time, selling to them is very random...you just NEVER know what to expect except that you WILL be taking things home with you (it must be in their rules to make sure something goes back home with the seller).



I recently took in NUMEROUS Gymboree items that were from last fall. As a former Gymboree junkie, I was always very particular with the Gymbo and would never try and sell something that I wouldn't buy for my own child. Because I was a junkie, as well, I bought a LOT. Many things went unworn and still had tags on them or were worn ONE TIME (birthday tee, Christmas Dress/casual, etc). They sent that stuff back home with me. THE NEW WITH TAGS ITEMS were refused and it was FOR FALL AND WINTER. I don't get it. Yet, they took my son's things that were more obviously worn.



I drove an HOUR to get to them...they took less than a quarter of my tote (Jammed packed tote) and then had the audacity to ask me if I had any shopping to do in their store. SERIOUSLY??????



This store takes in WAYYYY too much and is overloaded for their own good.



If you aren't fussy, it's a buyer's dream. If you are a seller, save your time...you will get more of a tax write-off by donating to a charity.
